Papa loves mangos

I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say that mangos might be my favorite thing in the whole world. I love their red, yellow, green and orange peels; I love their juicy flesh; and I really love that at the fruit stand down by the soccer field they are five for a dollar!

But I'm sad that they will only be around another two weeks or so. I guess the 11-month anticipation is the price you pay for perfection.

I buy them for the Mark & Nick who love the dried chewy ones. Not my cup of tea. Well, enjoy them---so full of beta-carotene!

Interesting story:

The other day I was walking back to my house and theres this dude selling mangoes right... "3 for 10 lempiras or 5 for 20 lempiras"...so that doesnt make sense due that mangoes 4 and 5 are more expensive than mangoes 1, 2 and 3...

So, Gazing at the oportunity to amaze myself I tell the dude gimme 3 for 10 and after that another 3 for 10...it doesnt work that way he tells me its 3 for 10 or 5 for 20, after trying to convince him that his "5conomics" didnt make sense and realizing that he wouldnt budge in order to con me for a lousy mango I walked away and ended up in a friends house harvesting mangoes on my own power.....and best of all for free.
